The spring-time®professional pro...
- Purifies the water using a prefilter, reverse osmosis membrane, and ceramic filter. State-of-the-art membrane technology filters out up to 100% of all contaminants. Energization is achieved by a Dr. Ludwig magnetic field generator with the primary value of the Schumann frequency (7.8 Hz). For detailed information, please refer to the "spring-time®420 pro" menu item. spring-time®420 pro
- enriches the water after the cleaning process optionally with hydrogen gas (H2). This gives it an antioxidant effect and helps neutralize free radicals and counteract oxidative stress.
- can also enrich the water with ozone. Ozone water, also known as sterile water, has a long tradition of use in medicine. It kills bacteria, viruses, and fungi, for example. Ozone water is perfect for removing pesticide residues from fruits and vegetables or for disinfecting baby products and dishes, for example.
- has improved semi-automatic processes that make maintenance work such as descaling and disinfection easier compared to the spring-time®420 pro.
The oxidative properties of ozone water
You may be familiar with the tried and tested household remedy of using a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution to clean or disinfect a wound. The decomposition of the H2O2 molecule an oxygen atom (O) and water (H2O). The oxygen atom is a radical in the positive sense (it is also called activated oxygen) and reacts with everything and everyone it comes into contact with.
The same applies to ozone water. The ozone (O3) decomposes into an oxygen atom (O) and molecular oxygen (O2The oxygen atom reacts with cell walls, for example, rendering germs, fungi, bacteria, and viruses harmless to 99.999 T in a very short time. Humans can easily tolerate small amounts of ozone-treated water or a 31 T hydrogen peroxide solution. Our bodies produce the enzyme catalase, which allows the decomposition described above to proceed in a controlled manner, thus counteracting damage to our healthy tissue. And a maximum of 24 µg/ml of ozone can dissolve in water, which is a small amount.
Ozonated water has a disinfectant effect (bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal), inhibits inflammatory processes, strengthens our immune system, and increases our vitality and performance.
Ozone water is an active all-purpose cleaner that cleans completely without chemicals and residues and even binds bad odors.
Attention: Ozone water is not drinking water!
The following description regarding the reducing properties of hydrogen water can also be found in the spring-time®premium pro, but there is a crucial improvement. The spring-time®professional pro features a significantly more complex electrolysis technology. As a result, the amount of dissolved hydrogen gas is more than twice as high (see table below) as in the spring-time®premium pro model. The following applies to both models: Directly after the hydrogen generator (=electrolysis unit), the water is swirled, which permanently binds the atoms of the active hydrogen into the cluster structure of the drinking water.

Antioxidant effect
Water enriched with hydrogen gas has a negative redox potential, thus an antioxidant effect and can neutralize free radicals.
Free radicals are atoms or molecules with a free, unpaired electron. This makes them extremely reactive and leads to harmful chain reactions in organisms.
Free radicals and oxidative stress
On the one hand, free radicals are created by natural processes, e.g. through breathing or during physical exertion and sport. The body is able to create a healthy balance (oxidative homeostasis) for the amount of naturally occurring free radicals through redox regulation.
On the other hand, external factors such as UV radiation, pollution, poor eating habits, smoking and alcohol also lead to an increase in free radicals. If there are not enough anti-oxidative protective mechanisms to break them down, oxidative stress occurs in the body.
Inflammatory reactions, infections and chronic diseases can also lead to the development of oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress can, in turn, impair the immune system and promote the development of acute or chronic diseases or premature aging. This can lead to a kind of vicious circle in which oxidative stress and the associated stresses are mutually dependent and supportive.
Drinking water as an antioxidant – it couldn’t be easier
To counteract oxidative stress, it is important to help the body neutralize free radicals with antioxidant substances. A balanced diet with a balanced intake of micro- and macronutrients through fresh fruits and vegetables plays a key role in this.
Enriching drinking water with hydrogen gas means that the resulting negative redox potential enables the water to also act as an antioxidant and neutralize free radicals.
To do this, the previously neutral hydrogen changes its oxidation state to +1 and thus has a reducing effect. This can also help your body to avoid oxidative stress.

Hydrogen enrichment
H2-Enrichment by electrolysis
Electrolysis means that water is split into its individual components by applying an electrical voltage.
Using a built-in electrolysis unit, the spring-time®professional pro splits part of the purified water into its components (hydrogen and oxygen gas) using platinum electrodes.
The simplified equation for this process is:
2H2O (water) –> 2 H2 (molecular hydrogen gas) + O2 (oxygen gas)
The oxygen gas is removed and collects in the rectangular container on the back of the device. The hydrogen gas is dissolved in the water and creates a negative redox potential that can be detected for several hours.
The initial amount of dissolved hydrogen gas immediately after enrichment is approximately 800 ppb (parts per billion). The measured redox potential is then approximately -500 mVolts. After three hours, approximately -150 mVolts can still be detected. Untreated tap water typically has a value of approximately +500 to +800 mVolts. The redox potential is a measure of how easily a compound absorbs or releases electrons. The lower the mVolt value, the easier it is to neutralize free radicals. Breast milk, for example, has a redox potential of -33 mVolts, and amniotic fluid even has a value of -69 mVolts.
The special water outlet tap makes it possible to decide each time whether you want to enrich your purified water with hydrogen gas or not.
Water enriched with hydrogen gas neutralizes free radicals that can cause disease, reduces oxidative stress and thereby increases personal well-being.
The spring-time®professional pro uses a particularly gentle, Schauberger-inspired method to generate hydrogen, which is sustainably incorporated into drinking water. This makes it easy to meet your antioxidant needs by drinking water from the spring-time®professional pro.
Beta-carotene is said to have particularly good antioxidant properties.
Drinking 1.5 liters of hydrogen water (from 500 ppb) is comparable in its antioxidant power to eating about 35 carrots.

Brochure spring-time®premium pro
A brochure for the spring-time®professional pro is not yet available; the content will be an abridged version of the one described above. You can download the brochures for the other two models here.
- spring-time®420 pro and
- spring-time®premium pro
All three models purify the water in the same way (pre-filter, reverse osmosis, and ceramic filter) and all have a built-in magnetic field generator (version with the "pro" suffix) similar to the Dr. Ludwig®. They differ in that the spring-time®premium pro additionally enriches the water with hydrogen through electrolysis, while the spring-time®professional pro model, in addition to enriching the water with twice the amount of hydrogen gas (compared to the "premium pro" model), also includes the ability to produce ozone water.

Descaling, disinfection and pre-filter replacement
Below you will find our detailed user manual with step-by-step maintenance instructions for the two different pre-filters. Make sure you follow the instructions for the filter you are using.
To ensure that you can enjoy your spring-time® pro device for a long time, regular descaling and disinfection are necessary in addition to changing the pre-filter and sterile filter every six months.
Three different filter systems are integrated into the spring-time® pro for water purification:
- Pre-filter (sediment or activated carbon filter)
- Reverse osmosis
- Ceramic filter
The pre-filter is responsible for the "rough stuff." It initially filters out dirt particles and tiny particles from the water. Over time, it becomes clogged with trapped particles and must therefore be replaced at least every six months.
The small sterile filter is located in the outlet tap, preventing recontamination via the outlet tap. Since active hydrogen, in particular, is very tolerant of binding agents, this filter is an important measure for keeping your spring-time® system in perfect working order. The sterile filter must also be changed at least every six months.
You can order the pre-filters and sterile filters available for the spring-time® pro here:
The reverse osmosis and ceramic filters are cleaned and maintained through regular descaling and disinfection (at least every four weeks) as well as membrane flushing (see the operating instructions for the procedure). All maintenance work on the spring-time®premium pro unit can be performed without tools.
These two filters last between five and ten years. To replace them, we recommend sending the device to the manufacturer, aqua living.
Filter selection
Important:
The spring-time® pro device can be operated with two different pre-filters. You decide which filter to use based on the drinking water quality in your area.
The following options are available:
- Sediment filter (installed in the device upon delivery)
- Activated carbon block filter for use abroad and with chlorinated tap water (at
Can be ordered through us if required)
Please read the instructions for use carefully, which contain the criteria that determine which of the two pre-filter types you would like to use for your spring-time® pro device.
Important NOTE
Attention:
Since the procedures for replacing the pre-filter as well as for descaling and disinfection vary depending on the filter type for the spring-time® pro device, we ask you to select the corresponding chapter in the instructions for use and carry out the individual steps precisely one after the other.
